2025 Recipient
Matt Hoelter, Executive Director, AES
​Matt Hoelter is a Senior Biochemist and Western Blot Manager at Kendrick Laboratories, a contract research organization specializing in two-dimensional gel electrophoresis. Matt has served as AES Executive Director since 2006. He has also been a contributing author on several AES presentations given by Kendrick Labs President and AES Past President, Dr. Nancy Kendrick. Matt is receiving the Distinguished Service Award for his numerous contributions to AES. Anything that needs to get done, usually begins with the phrase, "Let's ask Matt!" Matt has been instrumental in organizing social events at annual meetings, managing membership, communicating important society information, helping to manage activities to keep the society running, and more as he continues his role with AES in a more advisory capacity.

The Distinguished Service Award is normally given out every 2 years. Stay tuned for the announcement of the 2025 winner!
