The American Electrophoresis Society is dedicated to the development and application of electrophoretic technologies including microfluidic chips, capillary electrophoresis, 2-D electrophoresis with proteomic applications, and electrokinetics. The society was formed in 1980 to promote excellence in science and techniques, to cross disciplines, and to facilitate collaboration and communication between members. No other US organization is so focused on the important field of electrophoresis.
The AES annual meetings are held in conjunction with the larger meetings of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) in November of each year. AES sessions are attended by chemical engineers as well as by the more traditional biochemists and molecular biologists. Thus a wide technical audience is exposed to sponsors’ messages.

- Membership in the Society: 5 memberships for Platinum Level sponsorship, 2 for Gold Level, and 1 for Silver Level. Note that members receive reduced meeting registration fees.

- Poster Presentations at the annual meetings with the opportunity to distribute company information in the poster area. Posters are typically posted for three days.
